Ian's PNE club matched up with Dave "Crocodile Tears" Dohm in the penultimate league match.

Ian has 13 attacks.  Dave had 0.  Naturally the result was a 1-1 draw.  It gets more delicious when you consider that Lewes played 0 hardness...

Ian's Lillywhites then defeated Budvar Dave's Southend United on the season's final day in an 8-1 bloodbath.

Sadly for Ian, the Rooks did just enough in a 1-1 draw with perennial tour-de-force Tranmere to win the league title over PNE 39-38 points.
