Below is what Mr. Alon Atie suggested for the LEAGUE portion of MSWL UNITED for season 1.
I must admit I had my heart set on starting in division 3. However, I have warmed to this idea. In addition, everyone will (for historical purposes) be considered in the 1st Division for the 1st season (so when Dave Dowson gets relegated to the 3rd Division after one season that will look kinda cool)...
Right now it looks like we'll have 30 teams...
If you like it say Aye...if you don't offer alternatives...

3 equal leagues
Have we considered starting with 3 equal strength leagues for season 1.
Then the top 3 and best placed 4th finisher can make up the 1st division for season 2,with a similar formulae for div 2.
This will make the first season really exciting as everyone will be playing for their league position with a big incentive for finishing seventh as opposed to 8th as that would probably be around the 2nd/3rd div split.

This seems like a good plan.
It will also mean that in season 2 teams which have earnt similar CP's in season 1 and have equal squad development should continue to play against each other.

Will there be a playoff between the 3 winners to determine the "Inagural Champion"?

SFLSL had a playoff between the top 2 or 4 of each division in the inaugrual season. I think you either need best two 1st in a 1 off game or 3 1sts and best 2nd. No coaching/gate money.
