Could i suggest that during the close season whilst there is an auction taking place there is generally very little else for managers to do.

Could i ask that we consider tours for our teams, is essence a way of introducing the new schoolboys and the current schoolboys who become apprentices who can then play some extra games, maybe in the same light as the Youth Cup maybe only 5 Youth players are allowed to play with 6 older team members then the teams we play on tour will not feel hard done by that no full team members fail to show up?

It just gives that little extra element of qualification games for the Youth.
