C-Ball's comments sparked my curiosity in investigating what is the all time best season for most points, in other words to get the most points in a season a team not only needs to excel in division play, but also advance deep into as many of the cups as possible. My first guess was Tranmere was the winner, but interestingly enough they were not, although they certainly have the most seasons in the top ten! Enjoy!
