Let´s start with Preston North End. What is this one all about? This is as close to the original as I could find and know it´s not some form of lazy goat holding a cross, but a Paschal Lamb. Some may think it looks a bit weak, but the Olmec PNE Lamb is a formidable beast. The lamb is that of St.Wilfred the patron Saint of Preston, whilst the letters PP stand for ´Prince of Peace´ which is a bit ironic given they are managed by one of the unholy trinity. The badge did originally have three P´s for no apparent reason other than it balanced the badge better in the design! As you can see it also had three red roses as they are from Lancashire but these have been removed in a series of makeovers.
If you think you can slaughter them then do it as these lambs need to be pulped at birth or they will be spending even more time in the top flight..... and we don´t wnt that do we?
