Hi guys,
Given the weekly deadlines and the need for people to be away from their teams occasionally, do we want to try to automate something so a team can prioritize who to coach and how to handle youth if they really have to miss a session?
I'd want to be real careful about this. I'd want to limit it to once a season per team for "full mode" (including playing Youth to keep them building and Coaching players) and then after that, well it would be more like an NMR situation today (where no coaching occurs).
The thing I'd want to be careful about here is balancing the need for "once a season" a team to be "fully run by the computer" against the possibility that we start to rely on the computer manager and it becomes people falling back on that. Hence a limit.
But I do see a need for it...and it 'may' be beneficial in a larger scope if we have to run an open team for 2-3 sessions while finding a new manager for example (or in 'extraordinary') circumstances.
So first off, I'd like some thoughts on "if" we want to do it. If so, then we'd need some 'design' input. Of course there may already be a similar thread out there I should just be using.

Hi Al,
I think this could be a great idea but as you said there would need to be a imit or you might get people using it alot and then there wouldn't be much point in them managing the team but could be very benifitial to people who are going to be away

Sounds good for a one week per season, or two with direct Commish consent.
Now for a design... have to give that some thought.
