OK, so just how much is this guy really worth?
The Auction lists him as below, but how many times 350 will he actually go for?

Given that he can end the season as an App SL12, which means he converts to an A1 SL12 player (i.e. two levels higher than normal) I'm guessing at least three times 350, but maybe not so much more since there's a lot of work to do to untap the full potential.
Anyone else care to suggest a figure?

I'm guessing around 400, anything higher than that is going to be bidding way over the top...
I would guess close to 2000k, assuming someone is willing to spend that for potentially the best MF in the game.
I think 2000k at a minimum and I expect Ian Tiberius Lindsay to pay it!

Nope - he's like the App 6 last time, though slightly better since he can skip two games and still hit A1 SL11 for next season. And he's a forward, too!
Not sure if I missed something. No matches have been played yet, and there's no SL cap for APPs in the rules. Therefore, the APP 7 player should be able to finish this season at SL 12, and next season at SL 17...
By the time you buy the player the first session's games have taken place, so you've lost half an SL qualification opportunity.
Except, not in this case... in this case the player was purchased in the pre-season auction.
Oh wait, I see... John's message came AFTER the auction had been run, and he was talking about the NEW App 7 FW that is in the first session's auction.
