I want to take a moment to thank the league and managers for a wonderful ~20 seasons. I truly hate seagulls, but I have enjoyed my time at Brighton & Hove Albion immensely. I've made some good e-friendships here and for that, more than anything, I am grateful. Al runs a fun and competitive game/league, and I cannot thank him enough. Family life is at a point where I need to step away from some of the e-leagues I enjoy. This being the first soccer league I joined, it is especially difficult to retire, but it is a decision I must make. I want to thank C-Ball for getting me into this league. Other than not firing me from Third Shift, it's the best thing he's done for me! And now a small list of some of the things I've seen and enjoyed along the way (in no particular order):
Ian Won a Trophy - who knew it could happen (that treble season stands as the best single season in league history)
Dr Martin - all knowledge flows downstream from Kevin
Tranmere's Streak Ends - yes, I halted the Alon Atie juggernaut season 9 when we won our only league championship (Alon had six straight at that point)
C-Ball Leads the Table - wow, our friend Mike is in position to win his first trophy, and a great one at that, best of luck!
Comrade Rob - ten straight seasons in D1 is an incredible achievement, don't forget to share the wealth evenly
Al's Changes - started at Brentford, won some silverware, moved to Dorchester, won more silverware, then moved back to Brentford
Hereford - the only team in United to win at least one of every trophy
FA Cup Dominance - Dr Doom wins four FA Cup trophies in seven seasons (he is the master of the most prestigious cup the league has to offer)
I'm excited that I get to end my career with the FA Cup finale vs Dr Dohm. Seems fitting considering our match history. I'm looking to go out on top, so I expect this will be a match to remember.
Cheers!
